The animals in your café will relax and play with any customers that pop in for a visit. Your task in Calico is to bring the town's café back to life again. This isn’t just achieved by bringing in cats and animals alone, however – you can also decorate your café with furniture of different styles to create the perfect cozy home for you and your animals! 2048 is a free, open-source puzzle game created in 2014 by a 19-year-old Italian web developer named Gabriele Cirulli, who built it over a single weekend and published it on GitHub under the MIT License. It went on to consume roughly four million human lives in its first week. Not because it's complicated — it's the opposite of complicated — but because your brain will not let you stop. Here's the deal. You've got a 4×4 grid. Two tiles are sitting on it, each showing the number 2. You swipe in a direction — up, down, left, right — and every tile on the board slides that way until it hits a wall or another tile. If two tiles with the same number collide, they merge into one tile worth their sum. Two 2s become a 4. Two 4s become an 8. Two 8s become a 16. After every swipe, a new tile (usually a 2, occasionally a 4) pops up in a random empty space. Your goal is to keep combining tiles until you forge the mythical 2048 tile. The problem is that every move spawns a new tile, the grid is only 16 squares, and the moment you can't move — because every space is full and no neighbors match — you're dead. It's basically a territory war between you and entropy, and entropy is very patient. The strategy is deceptively deep for something with four inputs. Experienced players will tell you to pick a corner, keep your biggest tile parked there, and build a descending cascade along one edge — sort of like organizing a shelf where the heaviest books go on one end. The moment you let a big tile drift into the middle, your board starts to choke. You'll develop opinions about this. You'll start swiping left in your sleep. This is normal. It's free, it's open-source, it runs in any browser, and a round takes about ten minutes — or four hours, depending on how many times you whisper "one more try" to yourself. You should play it right now. You should also clear your afternoon.

Drop carved pumpkins into a haunted rack and beat Hazel the witch to four in a row. That's all you do: pick a column, let go, and line up four jack-o'-lanterns before Hazel lines up four gourds. Every pumpkin thunks, bounces and settles, and every four bursts into a spray of pumpkin seeds. Hazel stirs her cauldron while she thinks, peers at the porthole you're about to win through, and shrieks, hat jumping, when you block her. Win a night and the next one bends the rules: tombstones fill portholes, a padlocked column stays shut for four drops, and the rack grows to eight columns by seven rows. Land a pumpkin on a lit candle and that drop scores double. If Hazel lands on it first, she snuffs it out. Once a night she brews two gourds in a single turn, and her bubbling cauldron warns you a move ahead. The seeds you earn buy new carvings, glows, skins and rack finishes, from a Black Cat face to Gold Leaf. There are 28 things to discover in the Pumpkin Patch Journal, each with a clue until you find it, plus 15 achievements and a leaderboard for each difficulty. It's a calm game at heart. There's no move clock on Easy or Normal, so take as long as you like over every drop. A short tutorial teaches it by doing, and you can skip it. On Hard, Hazel thinks deep from the first night, gives you twelve seconds a move and triples your points. Pumpkin Row is free to play. Every night, every twist, all three difficulties and all 16 cosmetics are in the free game. Cosmetics are earned with seeds from play, never bought with money. You are a translucent slime the size of a small animal, and the planet under you is covered in things bigger than you are. Roll over the grass and swallow it. Then the flowers, then the fence, then the sheep that was ignoring you a minute ago. Every bite makes you heavier, and every kilogram of mass moves the edge of what you can eat a little further out. There is nothing to fail. No timers, no enemies, no currency to manage. A building too large to swallow simply pushes back and bends you around it, until it does not. The pleasure is watching the scale of the world turn over: the tree that filled your screen becomes a snack, the car becomes a crumb, the skyscraper becomes the next goal. Clear one planet and the galaxy map opens the next, each with its own look, its own skyline and its own ladder of things to devour. Hats, trails and skins are yours to collect along the way, purely so your slime looks the way you want while it eats a world. How to play: hold the left mouse button and drag where you want to roll, or use WASD and the arrows. On a phone, touch the screen and drag; the slime follows your finger. Everything else is automatic.
Dopaminer is an incremental game about one thing: breaking blocks. Click a glass block, it cracks and shatters, and your cash climbs. Blast and Arc ore set off chain reactions that clear dozens of blocks at once, and the combo meter keeps climbing as long as you keep the chain going. Buy upgrades, evolve your pick, and send out drones to dig while you watch. Dig through eight strata, resurface to spend your Shards on relics, then go back down faster. Active play pays about four times what idling does, and the bigger the chain, the bigger the payoff. It's loud, bright and built to feel good on every hit.
