Missile Command, inverted. Earth's private space programme is launching hardware across the solar system, and nobody is enforcing planetary protection. You are the quarantine officer who does. Three defence batteries. Limited ammo. Nothing homes, nothing locks on -- you lead the shot yourself and detonate where the rocket is going to be. Named, inhabited worlds burn one at a time if you miss, and Earth learns from every wreck it recovers, so escalation is your own leftovers coming back at you. Classic Arcade is the ranked ladder: a fixed loadout, endless waves, crisis spikes and breathers. Mastery tokens, the codex and your high scores persist between runs.

GRAVITY IS A SUGGESTION The factory's gone insane. Pistons slam on a beat only they can hear, lasers don't blink, and the floor stopped being a safe assumption a while ago. You're ARAN - a little robot who woke up in the middle of it with exactly one trick: flip gravity and run for your life. Walls become floors. Ceilings become escape routes. The factory doesn't care which way is up, and after your first flip, neither will you. It starts almost gentle - "Boot Sequence," they call it, like that's supposed to help. Two minutes in, you're deep in Chaos Mode, flipping on instinct, dodging patterns that didn't exist thirty seconds ago. Every run ends in a death you didn't see coming. Every death, you get a little further next time. Grab gears as you go. Chain them for combo multipliers up to 10x. Cash them in on shields, slow-mo, a magnet that pulls the good stuff towards you - small edges that stack, run after run, until the factory has to work harder to kill you. This is a "one more run" game in the purest sense. You'll die embarrassingly fast the first time. You'll die a little slower the tenth. Somewhere around the twentieth, you'll land a run you actually want to screenshot - and Chaos Mode will make you regret feeling good about it. Flip. Run. Don't trust the floor.

Bloomer is a one-thumb arcade game about a caterpillar circling four flowers with a snake on the same track. You never steer. You flip which way you are travelling, and you hop to a flower that is touching yours — that is the whole control scheme, and it is enough to be constantly, narrowly wrong. Petals bloom on the rims and wilt if you are slow. Every four of a colour completes a butterfly, and six butterflies empty the strip and change what grows there: white, gold, silver, then metallic, with the snake faster after every one. One bite ends it, whatever you had collected. The petals you banked are your score — and they go on the leaderboard. Controls: tap the arrows button (or any arrow key) to reverse direction. Tap the swap button (or space) to hop to a touching flower when one is highlighted.
Navigate a glowing character through obstacles to collect numbered balloons in ascending order. Plan your route carefully in this minimalist 2D puzzle game.

Ask anyone who considered themselves a true gamer in 1987 and the chances are they will fondly remember California Games. Whatever platform you played it on, sun-drenched sports played by the tanned and beautiful were the order of the day. Enjoy the six radical and awesome events: - Half-pipe - Roller skating - Surfing - BMX - Footbag - Flying Disc Appearing in many website and magazine ‘top 100 games of all time’ lists, California Games appealed equally to male and female gamers, something considered rather unusual at the time. Easy to play but hard to master, the game often led to playground arguments about which event was the best… arguments that can (maybe) now be settled once and for all! So get ready to put your shades on, turn the stereo up nice and loud, and go gnarly to the max with a sweet 720 kick-flip backwards ollie. Or something like that, anyway... According to the original instructions... Introducing the gnarliest bunch of games under the sun! Games invented on the beaches by sun-baked beach bums with a fondness for ripping, grinding and shredding - with six radically thrilling events intended to bring you to the edge and blow your mind... and make adrenalin California’s most plentiful natural resource. Wish they all could be California Games Get ready to shred the face off an awesomely tubular wave. Turn a ‘berm’ on a BMX bike and spray up a wall of dirt. Launch a few feet off-the-lip with your skateboard tucked high. And while you’re up there, dance for the crowd. Or if you’re feeling like kicking back a bit, float a flying disk, juggle a foot bag with your heels, or just slalom the boardwalk on your skates. When the going gets weird, the weird turn pro. But this ain’t beach blanket bingo. In fact, before you even set foot on California turf, you’ll choose an on-screen sponsor from among the heaviest names on the circuit. Then, hit the competition route. Prizes include trophies for a single event and a top prize in overall competition. So get air. Go crazy. Welcome to a new state of intensity!

Fast Lane is a one-touch 3D racer about threading a supercar through 24 lanes of oncoming barricades. There is exactly one control: move over. No steering, no brakes, no accelerator. Every lane you gain is a gap you spotted and committed to before the traffic closed it. The race runs three rounds of eight lanes, each one entered through a tunnel that resets you to a higher speed. Each round climbs harder than the last, so the gap that felt generous in round one is gone by round three — which runs through rain, into the night. Clip a single barricade and the run is over, whatever lane you reached. The clock never stops. Finish all 24 lanes and your time is your record — and goes on the leaderboard. Then beat it.

A miner stands at the top of the screen with a claw swinging beneath him on a pendulum. Below are gold nuggets, diamonds, and the occasional rock you'd rather avoid. Time the drop right and the claw hauls up treasure. Time it wrong and you're reeling in a boulder while the clock ticks down. Each level sets a target. Hit it and you move deeper, where the gold is bigger and the rocks are in the way. Between stages, a shop sells dynamite for the mistakes, stronger rope for the next haul, and lucky clovers for the gamblers. It's a game about timing, patience, and knowing when to leave something in the ground.

Hextris is a fast-paced puzzle game where colored blocks fall from the edges of the screen toward a central hexagon, and you rotate that hexagon to catch them on its six faces. When three or more blocks of the same color touch each other on adjacent faces or stacked on the same face, they disappear and everything above slides down. Let any stack grow past the outer grey hexagon boundary and it's over. The core mechanic is deceptively simple: blocks fall, you rotate left or right, colors match and clear. But the speed ramps quickly, and the six-sided geometry means you're managing six independent stacks simultaneously while blocks rain in from every direction. You have to think about where each color is building up, which face has room, and whether rotating to catch an incoming block will accidentally bury a color you were about to clear somewhere else. It's the Tetris problem of "I need this piece but not here" multiplied across six faces at once. Combos are where the scoring gets interesting. Clear multiple color groups in quick succession and a combo timer appears as a receding outline around the outer hexagon. Chain clears within that window and your score multiplies. High-level play is about setting up chain reactions, intentionally letting colors stack in ways that cascade into multi-clear combos when you finally trigger them. Created by a group of high school students from Boston at a hackathon and refined over three months, Hextris hit #1 on Hacker News, trended on GitHub, and became one of those games people pass around in browser tabs at work. It's built entirely in JavaScript on the HTML5 Canvas, runs in any browser, and is fully open source under the GPL license. No ads, no monetization, no installs. The flat UI design is clean and readable even at high speed, which matters when you're spinning a hexagon and tracking four incoming blocks at once. FEATURES ∙ Rotate a hexagon to catch falling colored blocks on six faces ∙ Match 3+ same-colored blocks to clear them ∙ Chain clears for combo multipliers ∙ Escalating speed keeps every session intense ∙ Clean flat UI designed for readability at high speed ∙ Runs in any browser, no install required

Neverball is a 3D ball-rolling game in the lineage of Marble Madness and Super Monkey Ball. You guide a ball through obstacle courses by tilting the ground beneath it using your mouse, keyboard, or joystick. The ball has real physics and real momentum, which means every slight tilt matters, every overcorrection sends you careening toward an edge, and every narrow bridge becomes a test of nerve. The floor moves. The ball reacts. You try not to fall into the void. Each level has a simple goal: collect enough coins to activate the exit pad, then reach it before time runs out. Yellow coins are worth 1, red coins 5, blue coins 10. Collect 100 total and you earn an extra life. The levels start gentle enough, teaching you how the tilt-and-roll relationship works. Then they introduce moving platforms. Then mazes. Then pushers that shove your ball sideways. Then narrow ramps over bottomless drops with moving obstacles and a 30-second timer. The difficulty curve goes from "pleasant Sunday puzzle" to "controller-gripping precision platformer" across 183 levels. Three highscore categories per level reward different playstyles: most coins collected, fastest time to unlock the goal, and fastest time to complete the level. Speedrunning and coin-optimization runs require completely different approaches to the same course, which gives every level at least two reasons to replay it.

Your signal bar is your health, your map, and your only way home. You strip dead infrastructure for a living. Walk out into the yard, grab whatever valuable junk you can carry, and get back to the van before your connection gives out. Everything you rely on runs on reception. FOUR BARS everything works. THREE item readouts get unreliable. You're not sure what you just grabbed. TWO your compass starts drifting. Home is no longer where it says. ONE something else joins your comms channel. ZERO the world flips. The deeper you go, the better the loot and the worse the signal. Deploy boosters to claw bars back, and stack them into towers to punch a connection into the dead zone. Bank your haul, upgrade the van, go further out. THREE PLACES TO WORK, each breaking your signal a different way. THE YARD distance is the enemy. Containers, a burning horizon, ash instead of rain. THE SUB-LEVEL distance means nothing. Line of sight is everything, and there is concrete in the way. THE ANTENNA FIELD the good ground moves. Ride the sweeps or lose the link. Then FRENZY: endless waves, a clock that resets every wave, a quota to bank, and radars that are not all on your side. Spend what you scrape between waves, because it does not follow you home. TWO THINGS ARE HUNTING YOU, FROM OPPOSITE ENDS. One feeds on bad signal. It is dormant while you are connected, wakes as you lose bars, and at one bar it is the only thing on the channel coming through clean. The other is only awake while your signal is STRONG, and it moves only while you are not looking at it. There is no part of the meter that is safe. FEATURES - A signal ladder that drives everything: loot text, navigation, the monsters, the weather, and the audio mix itself - Deployable booster towers that physically extend your safe range, and critters that come out of the dark to eat them - Four places to work, each with its own weather, and its own way of failing you - A fully voiced operator: 300+ reactive lines, and she is not always the one talking - Hardcore mode where one hit ends the run and the store turns on you - Leaderboards, achievements, and cloud saves that follow you across devices - Full controller support - Comfort settings on by default: no screen shake, no camera roll, no blur No signal. No extraction.
Orbital Cleaner Low orbit is a mess. Satellites are failing, debris is everywhere, and someone has to go up there and fix it. That someone is you. Fly tight orbital paths around Earth, line up with damaged satellites, and perform precise repairs while managing fuel, heat, and momentum. Every move matters. Overshoot your approach, stay too long in the atmosphere, or push your luck chasing debris and it will cost you. Burn down dangerous debris before it triggers cascading collisions. Let too much pile up and the Kessler Effect starts creeping in, turning a clean orbit into a chain reaction of chaos. You are not a hero. You are a contractor. Stack jobs, build momentum, and bring in credits… but corporate always takes their cut. Fees, penalties, and “operational costs” eat into every shift. The better you do, the more they expect. After each contract cycle, your performance is reviewed. Rankings, payouts, and upgrade access all depend on how well you handled the pressure. Simple controls. Tight systems. High stakes. Keep orbit stable. Or don’t.

Drop in at 7,012 ft and ride Quartz Mountain from the summit house to the base. A freeride snowboarding run down a Cascade volcano, with Mount Rainier on the skyline the whole way down and the chairlift climbing the fall line beside you. Every descent is 2,600 vertical feet through seven named pods -- Silver Crown, Cornice Bowl, Camas Basin, Emerald Valley, Northgate, Nugget Basin and Timber Base -- so you always know where you are on the mountain. Carve the fall line, send the cliff drops, thread the gates and stack tricks for score. Ride clean and the run keeps going; the mountain does not. Keyboard or touch. No lift queue.

Rainblast Unicorn is a tiny arcade restoration game made for js13kGames 2026 and the Wavedash challenge. You are a unicorn in a garden being swallowed by dullness. Hold to shine your horn beam, restore flowers, trees, clouds, and prisms, then keep the restored pieces alive when corruption starts chewing on them again. Chain restorations for bigger scores, use ecology effects to buy time, and push the whole garden into FULL SPECTRUM before the color fades. It fits in a 13 KiB competition ZIP, which is less a flex and more a cry for help with syntax highlighting. Controls: - Mouse / touch: aim - Hold click / hold touch / hold Space: shine - Release: stop firing - M: mute / unmute - Click / tap / Space after losing: restart
