Karnakoid

Karnakoid is a brick breaker aboard a star ark: ancient Egypt, far in the future.

Steer a scarab ship along a court that curls up and away ahead of you, and bat a small sun into walls of glowing glyph bricks.

Two ways to play:

• Classic: forty authored vaults across four decks, with a guardian at the end of each one: the Khepri scarab, the winged Aten, the Ankh sentinel and the Apep core.
• Endless: a new run of vaults every time, drawn from a seed, without end. Every fifth vault a guardian stands in your way, and no two are alike: each has its own strength, temper, shields and look. Endless keeps its own leaderboard.

Hieroglyph pickups change how you play:

• Triple shot: three bolts fanned 45 degrees apart
• Sun beam: burns straight through a whole column
• Magnet: the ball sticks to the ship so you can release it from a better spot
• plus a wider ship, extra balls, extra drones and more

Built for both mouse and touch: drag to steer, tap or click to fire. Keyboard works too. On a phone it plays upright or sideways, with a layout for each, and switches as you turn the device.
