How often do you get a musical cardgame? Draft Punks is a hybrid of a deckbuilder, a rhythm game and a music production/DJing app, where players attempt to live build the sickest set they can within a 4 minute window. Keep the crowd entertained with variety and creativity, bore them too much and they won't vibe with your set. Played entirely with the mouse or touch. Solo devved for Gamedev JS jam 2026 in 4 and a bit days with Phaser 4 and toneJS. All audio samples/loops I made myself in FL studio, art with Affinity. Block their attacks with GUARD, and strike back with ATTACK when they are open. 🔥 FEATURES Every action generates Heat. Push your machine to the absolute limit without overheating, then hit the COOL command for a deeply satisfying stress-relief. Rhythm & Combos: Time your inputs perfectly to the BPM to chain PERFECT combos and multiply your damage output. Roguelike Upgrades: Scavenge parts from defeated Kaiju to permanently upgrade your mech's capabilities. Emergency Mode: When your HP drops to critical levels, the system overrides safeties.
