Unicorn Sugarworld: Apocalypse

Anansi’s venom. The Grim’s memory. Your hands. How to play Swing the horn through a rank of approaching unicorn cavalry. Cut early or late and you’ll be told; cut clean and the chain builds. You cannot be harmed. You can only miss kills that take colour from the world. Desktop — move the mouse. The horn follows. Mobile — swipe. Hold and drag to swing; works in portrait or landscape. Chains multiply your score at 5, 12 and 24 unbroken cuts. A run is three minutes. Then comes the lullaby. Previous Game Unicorn Sugarworld: Looking Up Story So Far Anansi’s dream venom shows Athena the stakes. She learns of horrors darker than anything she has known, directly through the eyes of the Grim: the corrupted unicorn buried under the sugar dunes. Here the unicorn cavalry launch a desperate charge against him. Grim is in no danger from them. He only grows stronger as he kills them, and the world dims with every rank he opens. That was the point. Every unicorn that rode at him was buying time for the seven flutes, and the lullaby put him to sleep for as long as the tune continues. It’s abstracted as a dream, with symbolic expressions of the cavalry rather than real unicorn warriors. Watery distortion clouds her vision. Even so, when she wakes, Athena will understand one thing clearly: the thing in the tomb must not. Next Game Unicorn Sugarworld: Deathball More at unicornsugarworld.com
