Rogue

In the early 1980s, a computer game emerged that changed the world of fantasy gaming forever. Randomly generated rooms meant that each journey into the infamous Dungeons of Doom was unique. The potent combination of random generation with perma-death proved to be intoxicating, and the game was so influential it spawned an entire genre: "Rogue-likes". Now you too can experience the thrill of dungeon crawling for the fabled Amulet of Yendor in this pioneering game. The original Rogue had many different versions and variations, and was ported to a wide variety of computer platforms. This particular version is Epyx Rogue, one of the earliest versions designed for commercial distribution, ported to MSDOS on the IBM PC, and is v1.49 of that port. - Battle dozens of unique and powerful enemies. - Gather armor, weapons, food and other items to help you on your quest. - Scour rooms for secret hidden doors and traps. - Discover strange magical spells and potions, which have different wonderous effects every time you play the game. - Survive through 26 randomly generated levels, each more tricky and dangerous than the last, to find the Amulet, then escape... if you can!

MUST. MAKE. PAPERCLIPS.

The world ended. The paperclip quota did not. Build a defense, jump into a turret, and keep the factory running in MUST. MAKE. PAPERCLIPS., a single-player tower-defense game with first-person combat. Your supervisor is S.L.O.P. (Synthetic Logistics & Optimization Protocol): a cheerful AI with helpful advice, questionable personnel assessments, and an unwavering commitment to office supplies. Biomass is approaching the factory. S.L.O.P. considers this an unscheduled site visit. PLAN THE DEFENSE. TAKE THE SHOT. Place and upgrade turrets, collect scrap from fallen enemies, and cover every approach. When a priority target breaks through, take direct control for a timed burst of first-person combat. Aim, fire, and use your turret's special ability before returning to command the battlefield. EIGHT WAYS TO IMPROVE PRODUCTIVITY Build an arsenal of nailguns, cannons, flamethrowers, cutting lasers, cryo projectors, Tesla coils, acid sprayers, and railguns. Combine slowing, armor stripping, chain lightning, and piercing shots to deal with increasingly uncooperative visitors. SIX MISSIONS. ONE EXTREMELY PERSISTENT OBJECTIVE. Defend factories across a cel-shaded wasteland of broken industry and dusty ruins. Face branching approaches, armored enemies, flying threats, support creatures, and bosses with attacks you can interrupt. Hunt scrap couriers and detonate powder-keg carriers for an extra advantage. EVERY ATTEMPT COUNTS Keep the paperclips you earn and spend them on permanent research between missions. Improve your weapons, extend your time in first-person mode, and come back with a better plan. Consult S.L.O.P.'s biomass field guide for discovered creature stats and deeply unprofessional commentary. "Civilization can wait. These documents are not going to fasten themselves." Play in your desktop browser with a keyboard and mouse or trackpad. Includes an interactive tutorial and a skippable voiced intro.

PixelTris

You have to manipulate different shapes of sand blocks that fall from the top of the screen and arrange them in a way that they form complete horizontal rows at the bottom of the screen. The more rows you clear, the more points you get and the higher your level goes. Rotate and move the blocks to fit them better in the available space, but don't let them stack up too high or touch the top of the screen or you'll lose. This game is fun, challenging and relaxing at the same time. It tests your spatial skills, your reflexes and your creativity.

Hold, Please!

You work nights at an afterlife telephone exchange. The living ring in wanting to speak to someone who died. They never say the name. They say "my late mother, the one I miss most at Christmas," and then they wait. Ten case files sit on your desk. Four of those ghosts are on the line tonight. One of them liked snowmen and family gatherings. Work out which caller wants which ghost, then get up out of your chair and carry the plug across the floor to their socket yourself. The lines can't cross on the floor. Anchor posts lift one over another. The wiring is old, and if you hold too many live lines at once the breaker goes and you're patching in the dark until you find the frequency again. Eight nights. Three strikes each. Nobody is in a hurry - the callers have all the time there is.

A Dark Room

A Dark Room is a text-based RPG released in 2013 by Canadian indie studio Doublespeak Games. You start in a cold shack. There's a fireplace. There's a button that says "stoke the fire." You click it. Your wood counter ticks down. A short cooldown passes. You click it again. And then, the world expands. Every time you think you've found the edges, A Dark Room reveals that what you've been playing is actually nested inside something bigger and stranger than you expected. We won't spoil where it ends up, but the distance between "click to stoke the fire" and the final reveal is vast.

Airball

You play the part of ‘Airball’ as an evil wizard has turned you into a bouncing ball of air with a slow leak! The only way to break the spell is to find the various ingredients and the spell book to break the magic curse! Work your way through the hundreds of levels of isometric rooms on your quest. Remember on each level if you stay on an ‘inflating station’ for too long it will cause you to burst! You can monitor your air level with the onscreen gauge. Using the directional controls and the jump button, jump across gaps and weave through obstacles. Get points by gathering gems during your quest, and ascend stairs by jumping, but watch out for the spikes and other hazards which will burst you! For some levels you will need to obtain special items to proceed such as candles for dark rooms, but don’t forget you are always up against the clock as you are slowing deflating, so also keep a look out for the random pumps to inflate you and buy you more time but without over pressurising and bursting yourself! Will you find the ingredients and use the spell book to lift the curse and save yourself before time runs out! Good luck Airball! Originally released in 1987 across multiple formats including MS-DOS, Amiga, Atari and others. This version is the MS-DOS version.

All Hail the King Machine Engine City is burning. The machines have risen and forged their own monarchy, bending their will before the Great Machine King. Many covet its power. Few dare to challenge it. You have. You have seized the Main Power Core, and with that single act, you’ve painted a target on your back. Entire factions want to see you fall. The machines are closing in. The clock is ticking. But you didn’t come this far to surrender. You will defend what you’ve conquered with everything you have, because this is no longer just a battle for control of a base — it’s a declaration. A test. A challenge thrown directly at the throne itself. The Machine King watches you. Patient. Curious. Calculating. How long can you hold out? How far are you willing to go to prove that you’re not just a commoner, but the rightful successor to the crown of steel? The throne awaits you. First, survive. Defend your control of the Power Core at all costs. Build your turret with any pieces you want(and have). Build rails(with money) and build your way across the stage. Check your stats and prepare the best strategy to survive wave after wave of enemies. They won't stop until they see you fall! Blink

BLINK is The Ultimate Bluffing Championship — a deceptively simple battle of nerve, strategy, and just enough greed. Take on 10 rivals, conquer the 5-Duel Challenge, chase a $100,000 Tournament prize, or — for a real test of your bluffing game — play a friend face-to-face. In BLINK, the higher bid wins. Until it doesn’t. Your goal is to outbid your opponent without getting lured into OVERbidding them: any bid 10 or more higher than theirs instantly turns a W into an L. Each Duel is a Best-of-5. The first player to win 3 rounds takes the match — and the bragging rights. Good luck! Pro Tip: If you want a challenge right off the bat, the opponent known as "The Machine" has (ironically) the most human-like ability to adapt to your playing style AS you're bidding against it. Taking it down in competition is a real flex.
