Cornered

A cosy little city. A squad of cops. A thief who is always one step from the getaway tunnel. ▎ Cornered is a turn-based chase puzzle. Each turn you move one cop along a street, then the thief makes its move. Land on a thief to catch it, or box it in so it has nowhere left to run. If any thief reaches a tunnel, the case is lost. ▎ The thieves never move at random. They read the whole map and always run for the gap you left open, so every case is about planning a few moves ahead: who blocks, who chases, and when to close the net. ▎ - 50 hand-built cases across small towns, rivers and busy downtowns ▎ - Start with one cop, grow to six: later cases pit your full squad against three thieves at once, each in its own hat ▎ - Boats and cars give your cops shortcuts across the city ▎ - No timer and unlimited moves: take your time and hit the star target for a perfect case ▎ - Friendly on-ramp: the early cases teach each idea one step at a time ▎ - Calm, flat city-map art, gentle sound, and progress that saves automatically ▎ - Plays with touch, mouse or keyboard, on desktop and mobile Controls ▎ - Tap or click a cop to select it, then tap a glowing stop to move ▎ - 1–6: select a cop · Arrow keys: move the selected cop ▎ - [ and ]: ride the car or boat to its previous or next stop ▎ - R: restart · M: sound · H: help · Esc: back
