Night Checkpoint

A night checkpoint inspection game. You run the barrier on a mountain pass, alone, after midnight. Cars come out of the fog one at a time.

Shine your flashlight on the plate, the driver and the back seat, check them against tonight's notice, then raise the barrier or turn them away. Most cars are fine. Some are not quite right.

• Ten nights, each with new rules on tonight's notice
• Ten kinds of wrong to spot: a mirrored plate, an empty driver's seat, papers that don't match, a car you already let through, and more
• Read a driver's papers and keep the slip in your hand to check it against the plate
• Three mistakes and something gets through
• After each night, see exactly what you missed

Controls: drag to look around the booth, click or tap the plate, a window or the back seat to shine your flashlight there, then Raise barrier or Turn away. Works the same with mouse and touch. Keyboard: A or Left to turn away, D or Right to raise the barrier, M to mute.
