Charter is a turn-based, post-apocalyptic 4X civilization builder. Lead a handful of survivors from their first settlement to a new society, one decision at a time.

Scout a ruined, fog-covered world. Scavenge abandoned sites, build productive settlements, recover old-world knowledge and decide which neighbours to trust. Trade and negotiate with rival factions, or defend your people when peace breaks down.

Choose your path:

• Explore the wasteland and uncover resources worth settling near.
• Grow your towns, improve the land and balance food, scrap and production.
• Research new tools and shape your civilization through lasting choices.
• Pursue knowledge, prosperity, influence or conquest.

The latest playtest adds a harsher frontier: study or clear mutant dens, bargain with cultists, reclaim hazardous ground and excavate forgotten sites. Dispatches bring local choices with clear costs and consequences.
