In HOOFBEAT, every failed run helps build the way forward. Your unicorn runs automatically: jump over gaps and leave a rainbow trail behind you. On your next attempt, that trail becomes solid ground—a bridge that can carry you farther than before. Collect prisms to buy upgrades, and reach flags to unlock new powers: keep more rainbow trails, double jump, glide across gaps, dash through danger, absorb hits with a shield, or blast pesky crows with a magical beam. Later unlocks let you change your unicorn’s colours, rewind after a fatal mistake, generate a fresh world, and take on New Game+. Some gaps are too wide for a single jump. Take the leap, leave your rainbow, and try again. You die to build the path.
