Cribbage

Cribbage the way it's meant to be played: across a felt table, on a wooden board, with pegs that hop hole to hole every time you score.
You take on a single AI opponent in the classic two-handed game. Deal six cards, lay two away to the dealer's crib, then cut the starter — a Jack turns up two for his heels. The play runs to 31: peg for fifteens, pairs, runs, a go, and the last card. Then comes the show, non-dealer first — fifteens, pairs, runs, flush, and his nobs — before the crib swings the hand one way or the other. The deal alternates, so the crib is never yours for long.
First peg to 121 takes it. Leave your opponent short of 91 and it's a skunk.
