Tranq

Tranq is a 3D ranger game about a dart gun and a steady hand. From a helicopter, a jeep or a boat, tranquilize the pests in each area and leave the protected herd untouched.

Every area has its own pest running among the animals you're sworn to protect: pigs among deer in the meadow, coyotes among camels in the dunes, sharks among dolphins in the ice ocean, monkeys among macaws in the wetlands. Dart all five pests to secure the area. Hit a protected animal and it costs you three darts.▎

Animals break cover for a moment, then vanish into grass, leaves or ice. Follow their trails and fire blind: a dart that finds a hidden pest refunds three darts and scores a bonus. Darts take a moment to land, so aim where an animal is going, not where it is.

Eight areas cycle endlessly: meadow, dunes, snowfield, savanna, ice ocean, wetlands, red rock canyon, and a dark night post where only eyes glint between the trees. You get twenty darts per area. Run out and the run ends.

Each secured area is scored on pests darted, blind shots and darts left over, and your total keeps each area's best run. Beat an old score to climb the leaderboard.
