Kabuto-zumo! Pick from 28 real bugs - Japanese rhino and stag beetles, mantises, giant centipedes, tarantulas, scorpions and the Japanese giant hornet - and battle it out while five kids lean over the desk cheering you on. (Best played with a controller)

FIGHT YOUR WAY

• Jab, chain three hits into your bug's finisher, or charge a heavy that smashes through a guard
• Brace to block, and brace at the last moment to COUNTER
• Swipe left and right with claws, jaws and raptorial arms - circle to a bracing bug's side to get round its guard
• Grapple, then sting, bite, crush, or throw them across the cage. Rhino beetles flip bugs onto their backs with their horns!
• Jump onto rocks and toy blocks and drop onto rivals - the hornet takes off and hovers
• Watch your stamina: a winded bug is slow and easy to flip

MODES
Single player

• Festival Ladder: beat 8 bugs in a row at the summer festival, into the lantern-lit night, and face the boss
• Bug Royale: 16 bugs in one giant tank full of things to climb, every bug for itself - and a Daily Royale where everyone gets the same bugs
• 1 Player vs CPU: the CPU starts easy and gets tougher every time you win
• Catch them all: beat a bug to add it to your collection
  Multiplayer
• 2 players on one PC (keyboard + controller, or two controllers)
• Online 1 vs 1 with a friend or a stranger
• Online Bug Royale: up to 8 players in the giant tank, with CPU bugs making up 16

• Mushi-zumo (bug sumo) rules: push your opponent off the log, flip it, or make it give up - first to 2 points, the way Japanese kids play it
• Tutorial: a guided walkthrough - how to win, then every move step by step against a training dummy, ending with your first real fight

Every fight earns a score: damage, combos, finishers, counters, throws and flips, multiplied by how tough the CPU is
21 achievements to unlock, from your first finisher to festival champion

HOW TO PLAY
Keyboard: move with WASD, J jab (hold for a heavy), U / O swipe left / right, I grapple, L special, K brace (or dash with a direction), Space jump.
Controller: X jab (hold for a heavy), LB / RB swipe, B grapple, Y special, A brace or dash, LT / RT jump.
