You are Elftor, legendary hero! You’re quite accustomed to adoring peasants shouting your name, but now you’ve come across a town where everyone is shouting everything - and it’s getting a little annoying!
Draw Nine puts you in the role of a magician whose powers depend on a pack of magic cards. These can help or harm, but the selection available to you is determined randomly at the start of the game. Since you cannot choose your cards, you must find the path through the world that makes the most of the powers at your disposal. A game by Damon L. Wakes. Artwork by Joe Wright. Something floats above the water. It is smooth and still. It feels like it has always been there. It makes a low sound. You feel it in your teeth. As you get closer, something feels strange. Like a dream you had long ago. Like a word you know but cannot say. You reach out and touch it. The sky moves through you. You wake up somewhere else. The dark thing is still there. An interactive mystery in which an object responds to your motion, your attention, and your touch.
