Marble Diorama

Tilt a handmade diorama and roll a glass marble into the cup.

That's the only thing to do: drag, tip or arrow-key the tray and steer the marble round the walls, past the holes and into the little brass cup before Tick the clockwork mouse gets there first.

• The marble is glass. It holds the whole diorama upside down inside it, throws a bright caustic on the floor, and rolls with a sound that rises with its speed and changes on leather, moss, wax, ice and snow.
• Four handmade sets: a clockmaker's desk under a banker's lamp, a mossy temple of rain channels and wall-less ledges, a candlelit library of book stacks, and a frozen toy shop of alphabet blocks and gift boxes.
• Gear arms sweep you along, bumpers kick, conveyors carry you, a brass lever sinks every gate, and some walls are not walls at all. Amber gems hide behind them.
• Tick races you on every tray, scurrying the route on his little wheels. Beat his time for a star, then race the ghost of your own best run.
• A new Daily Maze every day, the same for everyone, with its own leaderboard, plus a best-time board for each chapter.
• Twelve marbles to earn, from Cat's-Eye and Snow Globe to Moonstone and Starfield, a clockmaker's notebook of 31 discoveries, and 21 achievements.

Roll it slow or fast. Relaxed has no clock and brass rails that keep the marble on the board. Normal races Tick. Expert is a livelier tray where a fall sends you back to the start. Each tray takes about 20 to 90 seconds, and a short practice tray teaches it by doing.

Marble Diorama is free to play. Every tray, the Daily Maze, all three difficulties and all twelve marbles are in the free game, earned by playing. There is no paid content and there are no ads.

Plays on desktop and phones, with mouse, keyboard, touch or a gamepad, and (if you like) by tilting your phone. Your progress and your ghosts are saved to your Wavedash account.
