Drop in at 7,012 ft and ride Quartz Mountain from the summit house to the base. A freeride snowboarding run down a Cascade volcano, with Mount Rainier on the skyline the whole way down and the chairlift climbing the fall line beside you. Every descent is 2,600 vertical feet through seven named pods -- Silver Crown, Cornice Bowl, Camas Basin, Emerald Valley, Northgate, Nugget Basin and Timber Base -- so you always know where you are on the mountain. Carve the fall line, send the cliff drops, thread the gates and stack tricks for score. Ride clean and the run keeps going; the mountain does not. Keyboard or touch. No lift queue.

Race a wooden sledge down a Highland glen on Christmas Eve, from golden hour to blue hour, and beat your own ghost to the village. The sun is going down over the glen and the village lights are coming on at the bottom. You start with 80 seconds on the clock. Gifts add 3 seconds, gold gifts add 6, and clean landings and big air add a little more. Choose your line: the gully is quick and risky, the forest line is safer and has more gifts on it. Read the snow: packed track is fast, powder is slow, and ice is fastest of all but slides. Crashes cost time, never the run. Your best run is saved as a ghost to race next time, with a live gap readout. Medals go by finishing time: gold 1:30, silver 1:37, bronze 1:48. Scots pines and birches, drystone dykes, a frozen burn, a bothy with a lit window and a church bell as you near the village. Runs take about a minute and a half. No ads. Controls. Keyboard: A/D or arrows to steer, S or Down to brake, Space to tuck, R to reset (costs 3 s), C to change camera, Esc to pause. Touch: hold the left or right half of the screen to steer and both halves to brake; lift off on the straights to tuck. Gamepad: left stick to steer, LT to brake, RT or A to tuck, X to reset, Y for the camera, Start to pause.
Snowline Rivals is a 3D snowboard time trial. Drop into five alpine courses — a bluebird day, golden hour, a deep powder day, a floodlit night run and the expert Couloir Noir — and race the clock to the bottom. Carve clean lines, tuck for speed, launch off big jumps and spin 360s and grabs on the way down. Every course hides shortcuts through the trees and powder fields: take the risky line or ride it safe. Make every gate, stick your landings, and chase bronze, silver, gold and pro medals. You never race alone: the next-faster rider's ghost runs beside you, so there is always someone just ahead to beat. Post your time to the daily and all-time leaderboards, practise any jump on its own, and unlock jackets, helmets and boards as you improve. New to snowboarding games? Beginner assist helps you land your first runs.
