The Colonists is a relaxing settlement-building game inspired by classics like The Settlers and the Anno series.

Take control of a team of self-replicating robots built to simulate human civilization. After escaping Earth, they’re free to explore the galaxy, find a new home, and construct their dream settlement.

Build Your Colony

Advance through three different Ages as you develop your settlement and build road, boat, and train transport networks.

Harvest natural resources, establish farms and food production, send expeditions to discover new lands, and research technologies to help your colony grow. Explore, manage, tweak, and refine every detail to your heart’s content.

Choose Your Approach

Follow two separate campaign tracks: build sprawling settlements in peace or compete against AI colonies in military, winner-takes-all scenarios.

Take on individual missions, explore randomly generated maps, test yourself on player-created challenges, or build freely in Sandbox Mode.

Create Your Own Worlds

Use the extensive map editor to design custom maps with your own victory conditions. Create, share, and explore new settings for your next colony.
