The Creator Fund splits a monthly pool between games by how much they’re played.
It’s free to join and takes no fee. Players don’t need to buy anything for your game to earn.
Your share is based on playtime.
Each month, eligible playtime is added up across every game in the fund. Your game’s share of that time is its share of the month’s pool.

Opt in each game from its Monetization tab in the Developer Portal. It’s free, and nothing changes for players.
From the day you opt in. Earlier play isn’t counted, so opt in as soon as you can.
Real sessions in the live, published version of your game. Play that looks manipulated or fraudulent is excluded.
No. You receive the full amount allocated to your game, on top of any Paid Content sales.
At the end of each calendar month through Stripe Connect, with a per-game breakdown in Earnings and by email.
Anytime. Play after you leave stops counting; play earlier that month still does.
